Aim:

to increase the amount of information available on the WWW which is relevant to local development needs
encourage local web page design skills

We are inviting individuals (not businesses) to submit web pages to us and we will periodically evaluate what we have received and put the best of those we consider to have met our conditions onto our web server at location http://www.sdnp.org.gy/gallery/.

The web pages in the Gallery are hosted on SDNP’s web server free of charge.

Pages submitted

must follow our guidelines for designing web pages (attractive but light-weight)
must contribute towards the aims of SDNP
must not contain commercial information or ads
become the property of SDNP unless otherwise agreed
cannot be modified after submission unless otherwise agreed
should usually be less than 70Kbytes in total
should display the notice ‘Designed for SDNP Guyana’s Gallery by (your name). The content is the responsibility of the author only.' at the bottom of the pages

Examples of possible topics:

Useful links for CXC English (or other subject)
Local history e.g. of a village or incident or building
Amerindian culture or history
Info on local wildlife
Info on local writers or poets
Info on local natural resources
Environmental issues of local relevance

Pages must be submitted on diskette or by email in finished HTML format.
